Purpose of the Role

Own full-cycle recruitment delivery for an assigned portfolio of roles, acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on role design, sourcing approach, selection methods and process. Drive best-practice execution, pipeline health, and continuous improvement of the recruitment experience. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Run end-to-end hiring for multiple roles concurrently: intake/kick-off, attraction strategy, sourcing, screening, selection support, offer management and handover to onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify requirements and success profiles; challenge constructively on scope, salary positioning, and assessment approach.
  • Build and maintain talent pools for priority job families; proactively pipeline for anticipated demand.
  • Manage agencies and vendors day-to-day (briefing, feedback, performance, shortlisting quality) within agreed commercial frameworks; escalate exceptions.
  • Provide market intelligence (availability, compensation ranges, competitor activity) to inform hiring decisions and manage expectations.
  • Track and report core recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, source effectiveness) and recommend improvements.
  • Support employer branding activity (events, content, referral programme) and represent the organisation as a brand ambassador.
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, data privacy and right-to-work/selection controls in partnership with HR colleagues.


Attributes/Technical Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence and set expectations.
  • Interviewing and assessment capability (screening calls, competency-based interviewing) and confident candidate closing.
  • Data literacy to interpret recruitment metrics and translate into actions.
  • Sound understanding of recruitment marketing/sourcing techniques and candidate engagement.
  • Proactive problem solving and resilience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Confident user of ATS/HR systems and MS Office tools; quick to learn new platforms.

 

Relevant Experience 

  • Typically 3–5 years’ recruitment experience (in-house or agency/RPO), with demonstrable full-cycle delivery and direct sourcing. Professional services/financial services exposure desirable.
  • Degree and/or relevant TA/HR qualification desirable.
  • Experience of using an ATS or CRM with knowledge of Phenom and Success Factors a plus.
