The Senior Revenue Accounting Associate will be responsible for the revenue and debtors’ management process. He/She will work closely with the front office teams to ensure the completeness and accuracy of revenue and ensure collection of all invoices issued.
Key responsibilities:
- Revenue Reporting: Month End revenue calculation/reconciliation, budgeting and reforecast
- AR cycle; invoicing process, collection process and reconciliation of accounting records
- Debtor’s management: management of debt in line with set-target / company guidelines
- AR controls and processes like profitability reviews, timesheet reviews and billing reviews
Key requirements:
- Excellent English communication skills - written and verbal
- Good accounting acumen and excellent Office 365 skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS).
- Self-driven and highly motivated individual, able to work independently
- Solution oriented with strong analytical skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Positive, flexible personality, easy to adapt to changes and willing to undertake new tasks
- Exposure to Financial Services sector preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience, specifically in Record to Report
- Completed ACCA Level II
- Sound accounting knowledge
- Viewpoint knowledge will be an added advantage
