We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team on a interim basis as Senior HR Partner UK, Ireland, Channel Islands. Reporting to the Vice President, HR Partner UKICI, this full-time and interim position is based in the UK, allowing you to make a significant impact to our HR team.

 


Purpose of Role:

 

  • To act as a trusted HR partner to provide strategic and operational support the Vice President to deliver against key programmes of organisational transformation, workforce optimisation and operational excellence.
  • A key focus of the role is ensuring the successful adoption of the Global Delivery Hub (GDH) operating model, driving consistency, governance and service excellence across HR processes and employee lifecycle activities. The role will champion continuous improvement, simplification and standardisation, leveraging shared service capabilities whilst ensuring a high-quality employee and manager experience.
  • The role will provide expert support on organisational design, restructures, TUPE transfers, workforce transitions, employee relations and change management, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment to Vistra's strategic objectives.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

Operational Excellence & GDH Model

 

  • Drive adoption and optimisation of the GDH delivery model across the region.
  • Ensure effective segregation and ownership of activities between HR Business Partnering, and GDH.
  • Embed robust governance, controls, service standards and escalation processes across the HR operating model.
  • Monitor service delivery performance, identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation and simplification.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in the transition of activities into GDH environments, ensuring service continuity and successful change adoption.

 

 

Transformation & Change Leadership

 

  • Support complex change programmes including restructures, operating model redesign, acquisitions, TUPE transfers and business integration activities.
  • Coach leaders through periods of organisational change, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Drive cultural change initiatives focused on accountability, ownership and high performance.

 

HR Governance & Risk Management

 

  • Ensure organisational change activity is compliant with employment legislation across all jurisdictions within scope.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters arising from transformation programmes..
  • Support governance over consultation processes, restructuring activity and employee communications.

Relevant Experience:

 

Essential

 

  • Significant experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role.
  • Strong employee relations experience.
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and transformation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to analyse people data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

 

Desirable

 

  • Experience supporting multiple jurisdictions or international teams.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Experience in professional services, financial services, or corporate environments.

 


Education and Professional Qualifications:

 

  • CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience).
