We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Associate – Vistra Affiliate Excellence reporting to the Manager Affiliate Excellence. This full-time position is based in Mumbai, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to Operations Department.
Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Associate – Vistra Affiliate Excellence to support affiliate operations, SAP deployment activities, operational governance, and process execution across multiple jurisdictions. This role will play a critical part in supporting the rollout and ongoing management of SAP-related processes, purchase order administration, work package management, rate card deployment, data analysis, and operational issue resolution.
The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets, multiple systems, and evolving operational processes. The role requires strong problem-solving capabilities, the ability to investigate and resolve operational challenges independently, and a willingness to support broader affiliate management activities as the function continues to evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP Operations & Deployment Support:
- Support SAP deployment and onboarding activities for new countries, entities, and business units
- Assist with work package setup, mapping, validation, and maintenance activities
- Support purchase order (PO) creation, updates, monitoring, and related administrative activities
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution during SAP implementation and transition activities
- Coordinate with SAP, Finance, Procurement, and Operational teams to resolve system and process-related issues
- Support testing, deployment, and hypercare activities for new SAP enhancements and process changes
- Maintain process documentation, deployment trackers, and implementation status reports.
- Data Analysis & Operational Support:
- Analyze operational data to identify discrepancies, trends, risks, and process improvement opportunities
- Prepare and maintain management reports, dashboards, trackers, and operational metrics
- Conduct data cleansing, validation, and quality reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
- Support investigation and resolution of operational issues, exceptions, and escalations.
- Assist with reporting requirements related to affiliate engagements, purchase orders, work packages, and operational performance.
- Affiliate Operations & Engagement Support:
- Support onboarding and setup activities for new affiliates and supplier relationships.
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of affiliate agreements, rate cards, and engagement-related documentation.
- Support new engagement requests, change requests, and affiliate administration activities.
- Maintain affiliate records, operational trackers, and governance documentation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and affiliates to ensure timely completion of operational activities.
- Process Governance & Continuous Improvement:
- Support implementation of governance controls and operational best practices.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and manual activities and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Assist in developing SOPs, process documentation, and operational guidance materials.
- Participate in automation, process improvement, and transformation initiatives
- Support continuous improvement activities aimed at increasing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Key Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Commerce, Operations, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- 3–6 years of experience in operations, SAP support, finance operations, procurement operations, data analysis, or related roles
- Experience working in multinational, shared services, or global operations environments preferred.
Core Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, data validation, and reporting.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform detailed analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data inconsistencies and operational risks.
- Ability to investigate issues independently and drive resolutions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting system implementations, operational transformations, or process improvement initiatives.
- Experience in purchase order administration, procurement operations, finance operations, or shared services environments.
- Experience working with affiliate, vendor, supplier, or third-party management processes.
- Knowledge of process mapping, governance controls, and operational documentation.
- Experience supporting automation, workflow optimization, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to SAP, ERP systems, or similar enterprise platforms would be preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with SAP (S/4HANA preferred).
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or similar dashboarding platforms.
- Experience using workflow, ticketing, or operational tracking tools.
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and adapting to new technologies and processes.
