We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior Accountant. This full-time and permanent position is based in Bulgaria (Sofia).

  • ABILITY TO MAKE DECISIONS – evaluation and analysis of the situation, ability of drawing-up conclusions, not evading responsibility for undertaken decisions, not going beyond for specific position.

 


Responsibilities:

 

  • Arranging and organizing, the bookkeeping and the accounting entries of the clients
  • Organizing the work and delegating tasks to subordinates
  • Development of internal controls and supervision of proper execution of the work by the subordinates
  • Maintaining good relations with clients and identifying their needs and potential issue
  • Cooperation with other departments within Vistra, in order to assure proper quality of services to clients
  • Establishing communication procedures with clients
  • Authorization of payments on behalf of clients, based on their authorization
  • Acting as a proxy of clients
  • Preparation of monthly / quarterly / annual management reports, in accordance with international standards and internal requirements
  • Filling-in timesheets and work time evidence
  • Ad-hoc projects as required and requested by the superior

 

Requirements:

 

  • Academic degree
  • Accounting qualification an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of The CIT Act / The VAT act / The TSP Code / The Accounting Act
  • Knowledge of the national accounting standards and the international financial reporting standards
  • Experience in accordance with Art.18 of the Accounting Act
  • Experience in team work
  • Good command of the English language
  • Knowledge of other foreign languages will be a merit
  • Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Knowledge of financial-accounting software programs required
  • Analytical skills, strategic thinking, ability to work in  a team, time management skills, stress management, assertiveness
  • Fluency in Bulgarian language
