The People Advisor – Latam will play a key role in supporting and delivering core HR operations across our Latam locations. This role will be responsible for managing employee lifecycle activities, payroll and benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding processes, HR systems administration, and providing day-to-day HR support to employees and managers.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the business, ensuring an excellent employee experience while maintaining compliance, data integrity, and operational excellence across all HR processes.

This role can be remote from anywhere in Spain or you can chose to work in a hybrid fashion from our Barcelona or Madrid offices.


Key responsibilities:

 

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Coordinate and manage onboarding and offboarding activities across the Latam region.
  • Ensure all employee lifecycle transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare employment documentation, letters, and HR communications as required.
  • Support employees and managers with day-to-day HR queries and provide guidance on HR policies and processes.

 

Payroll Administration

  • Coordinate payroll inputs and review payroll data for accuracy prior to submission.
  • Approve and validate payroll-related changes, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and benefits deductions.
  • Partner closely with Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and continuous process improvements.

 

Benefits Administration

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs across the Latam.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries.
  • Liaise with benefits providers, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Support annual renewals, open enrollment activities, and benefits communications.

 

HR Systems & Data Management

  • Maintain employee records and organizational data within HR systems (Vistra Compass/VC and other HR platforms).
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance across all HR systems.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics to support business decisions.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

 

Employee Engagement & Communications

  • Support the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
  • Coordinate internal communications, newsletters, and regional HR initiatives.
  • Assist with the organization of employee events, Town Halls, and learning initiatives.

 

Process Improvement & Projects

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
  • Participate in regional and global HR projects, system implementations, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures and HR workflows.

Relevant Experience:

 

  • 8+ years of HR experience, ideally with exposure to payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (VC or similar systems) is a plus..

 

Education and Professional Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
