We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Manager - Fund Accounting. Reporting to the Operations Director, this full-time and permanent position is based in Delhi, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Fund Administration and its’ growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for handling investments and exits and ensuring cash management, Bridge availability.
- Prepare drawdown distribution notices based on approved workings.
- Obtain understanding of Partnership Agreement , prepare carry workings.
- Preparation of valuation as per latest Private Equity Valuation Guidelines.
- Responsible for preparation of valuation decks. • Help to arrange for closure of Valuation audit with EY.
- Prepare data for dissolution of non-active fund/ entities.
- Help on setting up of new funds.
- Responsible for preparation of timely and accurate Drawdown workings and Distribution analysis to be presented to the key stakeholders.
- Prepare quarterly report for investors, annual financial statements and enable successful closure of audits.
- Understand the LP side letters and help in preparation of data for reporting.
- Responsible for replying to Limited partner queries.
- Responsible for catering to LP transfer request.
- Responsible of SPV valuations for specific assets.
- Responsible for compliance certificate to banks.
- Preparation of track records.
- Preparation of Quarterly Movement of exits
- Preparation of data for review meetings.
- Preparation of AIM/SAU decks.
- Working on ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned
Key requirements:
- Associate level knowledge gained within a private equity firm, investment bank, or worked with a Big 6 Chartered Accountant Firms in the Statutory Audit Domain working on financial services clients
- A good understanding of how private equity works its philosophy, disciplines, and value orientation
- MBA from a business school / Qualified Chartered Accountant, or degrees equivalent
- Exceptional team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
- A passion for sustainability and working in a values-driven organisation.
- Proactive, self-starter; Highly organised and focused
- Ability to handle a small team
- High attention to detail and should possess good communication skills
- Excellent administrative, organisation and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously and flexibly.
- Ability to interact personably, yet professionally with employees at all levels with equal ease.
- Ability to prioritise own workload and meet stringent deadlines.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
