We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Client Service Delivery – Banking Operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai, India and offers regional
coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Fund Administration - Capital Markets and its’ growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Candidate is responsible for receiving payment, TDS, FD, etc. instructions from client
- Will be responsible for preparing payment instructions as per details provided by clients.
- Will take care of sending prepared payment instructions for checking to checker
- After checking take sign of authorized signatories as per mop
- Will take care of sending signed payment instructions to banks for payment
- Follow up with banks for payment process
- Helping client in opening bank/demat/ custody account in coordination with accounts opening team
- Review and process of bank payouts, TDS payments, mutual fund investment & other banking transactions offline
- Responsible for AIF transactions database & MIS preparation
- Resolving clients queries and directing it to relevant team
- Following up for 15 CA in order to make foreign remittances
- Providing timely bank statements to client as per their requirements
- Making online NEFT/ FT/ RTGS payments various clients.
- Making online TDS payments for various clients
- Making online foreign remittances for various clients.
- Payment processing for MFO team
- Design and manage end-to-end account opening journeys for banks, demat (CDSL/NSDL) for PMS, AIF, and Private trusts
- Map and optimize client journeys from lead capture to account activation
- Reduce drop-off rates at each stage of the onboarding funnel (form filling, document upload, verification, activation)
- Design and manage onboarding communication workflows (welcome kits, status updates, activation confirmations)
- Define SLAs for account opening turnaround times (TAT) across product types
- Monitor and report on onboarding metrics: conversion rates, TAT, rejection rates, re-submission rates
- Manage exception handling for incomplete applications, document discrepancies, and verification failures
- Coordinate with compliance, operations, and relationship teams for smooth handoffs
- Handle bulk/corporate account opening processes for institutional clients
Key requirements:
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Banking Operations
- Experience in change management; from idea inception to fully implementing changes proposed would be a distinct advantage
- Excellent communication skills for investor-facing content and internal stakeholder management
- Commerce or equivalent Graduate
