Vistra is looking for a Junior Tax Advisor to support the team and our clients. Together with the team you are responsible for ensuring our client portfolio is provided with the best quality of services.
You will join an organization where you can fully grow and develop yourself by working with experienced colleagues in different fields of expertise, supporting clients in a diversity of sectors and countries with different support needs and be encouraged to learn and develop.
You will work in a closeknit team within the larger, but informal and open, organization of Vistra. Vistra is an environment where initiative and ideas are welcomed and encouraged. Within the organization you will be supporting clients in different segments and countries and provide them with advice as an equal sparring partner.
The role is based in Romania and will remotely support the tax team in Netherlands, reporting into the Netherlands team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support your colleagues with the Dutch portfolio of local and international tax compliance projects;
- Support in compilation and review of tax filings, initially focused on Value Added Tax and in due course Corporate Income Tax and/or Regulatory Tax;
- Ensure and safeguard meeting all regulatory, as well as internal, requirements and timelines;
- Work together with internal stakeholders such as the accounting and payroll team and external stakeholder such as the tax authority and clients;
- Ensuring files and filing are in line with local applicable guidelines, quality standards, law and regulations.
- Provide input on processes and potential efficiencies.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3 year of relevant experience in a tax compliance role or accounting role with basic knowledge on the general dynamics of Value Added Tax.
- Knowledge on the general dynamics of Corporate Income Tax is considered a bonus;
- Experience at a tax advisory firm, accountancy office or international environment is beneficial;
- Good command of English (written and spoken);
- Analytical skills with an eye for detail;
- True team player;
- Completed Bachelor.
