About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Functional Analyst, based in Mauritius. This full-time and permanent position offers regional and international coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact within our Technology team supporting Fund Services operations across multiple jurisdictions.

As a Functional Analyst in our Technology team, you will be playing multiple roles, between key escalation point for Paxus support related integration projects while also being involved in a software implementation for our Management Company (ManCo) activities in Luxembourg.

 

Key Responsibilities

Paxus  Support  & Functionalities Implementation

 

  • Serve as the Level 2 support escalation point for Paxus-related issues, driving timely resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
  • Lead functional analysis for new functionality implementations, automation initiatives, and integration projects involving Paxus
  • Gather, document, analyze, and validate business requirements from stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions
  • Collaborate closely with development teams on solution design, testing scripts, and end-to-end UAT cycles
  • Produce clear, concise documentation that effectively bridges business needs and technical solutions

 

Software Implementation (ManCo – Luxembourg)

 

  • Drive key implementation workstreams of PMPlus software supporting ManCo activities in Luxembourg
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and system configuration
  • Develop training materials and user guides to accelerate end-user adoption and minimize post-go-live issues
  • Prepare and coordinate UAT testing — including test scripts, scenarios, and Issue Log tracking
  • Design and implement Support operating models aligned with PMPlus capabilities
  • Plan and execute data migration activities into PMPlus, ensuring data integrity and completeness

 

 

 

Supporting various Hedge & ManCo Dev Projects

 

  • Keep Jira boards clean, prioritized, and up to date
  • Maintain and enhance the Project Tracker for visibility across teams
  • Lead requirements gathering and specifications definition for new initiatives

 

Key Requirements

  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies (requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, UAT coordination)
  • 3–5 years’ Technology experience in Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, or ManCo operations
  • Proven experience in software implementation projects — ideally in a financial services or fund administration context
  • Experience providing application support (Level 2) and managing automation and system integration projects
  • Excellent organizational skills, combined with strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tenacity, confidence, and resilience to deliver high-quality results
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences

 

Desirable

  • Experience in consulting or advisory roles within financial services
  • Knowledge of IFRS, UCITS, AIFMD, or other regulatory frameworks relevant to fund services
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Exposure to data analytics, BI tools, or reporting platforms
  • Experience working across multiple jurisdictions or in a global delivery model
  • Understanding of API integrations, middleware, or ETL processes
