iiPay has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated Business Systems Analyst who wants to be part of this rapidly expanding business, taking on the responsibility for requirements gathering and technical analysis functions to help drive to our goal of ‘Paying the Planet’.

 

 

Role Overview

 


Our highly motivated and engaged team members are at the heart of our success! Business Systems Analysts help link business processes and business systems. They are the bridge between teams and the business systems that iiPay use every day. The successful candidate with be able to effectively project manage business requirement and how to integrate those requirements into systems that iiPay are using, either into an existing system or a new system to be developed. 

You will serve as the representative and advocate for our business systems to all departments, and coordinate business system change requirements with cross functional teams. Create Jira stories and drive systems update changes to help complete business process change requirements. Help in troubleshooting and resolving complex business systems issues. Train/Update business system support team on new systems and systems updates/changes. Manage the workload with a positive attitude, with the ability to see beyond the current challenges or obstacles to focus on what’s possible.

 

 

Key objectives of the role

 


The successful candidate requires a minimum of 3 years of Business Analyst experience and the ability to demonstrate a proven track record in the following areas:

A wide range of analysis scope including but not limited to the following and be able to demonstrate the analysis techniques needed to be effective in each area

  • Data Analysis
  • GAP analysis
  • Cause and Effect Analysis 
  • Technical awareness
  • Problem solving
  • Requirements gathering
  • Liaison and communication
  • Ability to write clear and concise documentation
  • Stakeholder management

 


What We Are Looking For

 


A demonstrated ability to master new software and functionality in a limited amount of time. Excellent communication skills, including ability to express well-reasoned, logical, independent thought. A natural ability to speak and write effectively at all organizational levels. An understanding of payroll, financial or HCM business processes is desirable but not essential. Experience of working with or within a software development team. Strong Excel and Jira (or other similar ticketing system) skills are essential, and SQL and other data technologies are desirable.
