We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Accountant. This full-time and permanent position is based in Bulgaria (Sofia).

Responsibilities:

 

  • Entering information in electronic form or from paper carrier in the accounting software;
  • Processing the entered information and allocating it in respective files and folders in electronic form or on paper carrier;
  • Extracting information from the databases;
  • Registering the accounting operations in chronological order;
  • Preparing primary and secondary accounting documents;
  • Preparing monthly VAT reporting and returns;
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual management reports in accordance with international standards and internal requirements;
  • Assisting with financial and tax audit of clients;
  • Maintaining correspondence and communication with clients;
  • Participating in stock-taking and checks of accountable persons;
  • Communicating with NRA, NSSI and other institutions;
  • Assisting the other departments for the purpose of providing better services for clients;
  • Filling-in timesheets for the worked-off time;
  • Independently or in a team, performs other tasks assigned by the line manager.

 

Requirements:

 

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or any other relevant discipline;
  • At least 2+ years accounting experience;
  • Excellent command of Bulgarian language and good command of English language;
  • Very good knowledge of the Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation;
  • Good computer literacy - MS Word, Excel, Outlook;
  • Experience with working on different ERP Systems;
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Fast learning person, with a good eye for details;
  • High motivation to achieve results and seek solutions.
