UAT Director

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as UAT Director. Reporting to the Head of Digital Global Incorporations, this part-time and temporary position is based in Hong Kong and offers a global coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Global Incorporations Services and its’ growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the UAT process for Fenergo project, ensuring comprehensive test planning, design, execution and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, business analysts, and project owners, to understand requirements and ensure alignments of testing activities with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain detailed UAT plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate functionalities, performance, and compliance with client requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical test scenarios and manage test schedules and resources effectively.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential testing challenges or issues.
• Facilitate UAT meetings, manage communication channels, and provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders.
• Ensure any defects or issues identified during UAT are logged, tracked, and communicated promptly, and work closely with development teams to drive resolution.
• Analyze test results, prepare UAT closure reports, and participate in release readiness reviews to ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria.
• Continuously improve testing processes by applying lessons learned.
• Mentor and guide UAT team members, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration.

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in UAT management or software testing, preferably within a client onboarding or financial service environment.
• Strong understanding of UAT methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize in a face-paced environment.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to details.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with testing tools is a plus.
• Certification in Quality Assurance or Testing (such as ISTQB) is advantageous.
