We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Test Analyst for our iiPay business, part of our award winning Global payroll division. Reporting to the Senior Manager Product Development, this full-time, permanent position can be based in our Hungary, Romania or Poland offices and offers global coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact on our payroll business and its growth.
All our roles can be performed remotely with occasional visits to the office as requested by your manager. Where we have office locations, our team members are welcome to work remotely, on a hybrid basis or fully office based as they wish.
Our highly motivated and engaged team members are at the heart of our success! This role requires being responsible for the design and execution of test plans, the management of any issues found through the defect process, and the recording of test results. These activities will culminate in signing off releases to our production environment.
Key responsibilities:
The successful candidate requires minimum 5 years of manual testing experience and the ability to demonstrate a proven track record in the following areas:
- Reviewing business requirement specifications to develop test plans
- To derive test cases and test scripts based on requirements
- Creation of test data to support the test plans
- Working with business analyst to derive overall regression scope
- Manual test execution, regression testing, defect tracking and defect closure
- Test Reporting and sign off
- To work closely with business analyst and development teams at various stages of the lifecycle
- Risk / Issue identification, analysis and deriving mitigation approach
- Providing objective feedback to software development teams
- Performance and stress testing
- Desire and ability to help to develop a test automation capability
Attributes/Technical Skills:
- Educated to degree level, ideally in Computer Science
- Someone who loves to work as part of a team
- The ability to work to firm timescales, and manage your own work schedule
- A passion for technology and an inquisitive mind to dig into how things work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Rigorous attention to detail
- Have certified industry recognised qualification such as ISTQB Foundation Level
- Experience of the payroll industry, financial systems, and web-based systems are a significant advantage
Relevant experience:
- Five or more years’ experience in a manual testing role
- Functional testing background with experience in testing web applications
- Professional software testing experience gained through exposure to the full development lifecycle
