Our opportunity for you:
Vistra Group Compliance is currently recruiting for a Group Compliance Senior Analyst. This is an exceptional opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), the position offers a hybrid work arrangement and can be based in our UK, Ireland or Channel Islands offices.
Detailed Job Duties
- Group GRC system (Audit Board) and continued socialisation of the system; collaborating with users cross functionally as necessary
- Group CMP, ensuring consistency between it and Vistra’s overarching risks, risk appetites and policies.
- Group Compliance registers
- Periodic compliance reporting: CMP, material regulatory updates, jurisdictional analyses etc
- Contribute to drafting and updating of Global policies and associated documents
- Provide technical direction to compliance teams globally as may be required
- Key participant in Group GRC projects, including ad-hoc duties/projects assigned by General Council and or CCO.
- Exercise due skill, care and diligence, observe proper standards of market conduct and deal with any regulators or other relevant stakeholders in an open and co-operative way (as may be required)

- Strong Compliance technical knowledge.
- Able to work in a multi-faceted environment and sensitive to divisional business issues.
- Ability to deal with staff at all levels of an organisation.
- Methodical with strong analytical skills; ability to interpret and summarize complex information for onward communication to the Executive Committee, the Group Board and externally as may be required.
- Consultancy skills in order to be a trusted adviser to the business on Compliance related issues.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to build persuasive cases based on fact and through the strength of leadership ensure that all relevant stakeholders buy into the Compliance strategy.
- Credible and effective communicator both written and verbal with proven relationships with industry and/or market contacts.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and display emotional resilience.
Relevant Experience
Types of Experience:
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Compliance
• Medium to large company experience preferred
• Experience with GRC systems an advantage
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
• Graduate (Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, Audit)
Computer Skills:
• Microsoft Office. Knowledge of in-house IT system, Viewpoint, would be advantageous.
Languages:
• Excellent spoken and written English.
