Position Description



The primary responsibility of a Change & Comms Manager is to implement strategies and plans in relation to changes to roles and ways of working especially within Operations. Key objectives are to ensure a faster rate of employee adoption of process and usage of systems and to minimize resistance to change. The role also requires a keen focus on communication and engagement with key stakeholders.

This role will work closely with the Operations Director in SG and the global change, communications, and training team (Viewpoint Cloud & SAP S/4 Hana) to manage the transition of change to the business units, through building change networks, internal capabilities and support models.


Key Responsibilities



  • Support in developing a change plan required by Operations for projects or change initiatives in local markets to drive adoption and minimize resistance across the organization.
  • Prepare impact analysis and evaluation of the actual impact of changes, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Work with Operations and Finance to embed changes within the business units, monitoring and measuring adoption throughout implementation and during transition to BAU.
  • Ensure change is delivered at the required pace in the local market to align with the planned benefits.
  • Drive local engagement and communications activity to support change activity and outcomes.
  • Identify any risks associated to the projects in an early stage and develop risk mitigation tactics.
  • Identify and manage any anticipated employee resistance to change within the organization, again tracking attitude and business readiness throughout.
  • Support design, development and local delivery of internal communications relevant to change initiatives.
  • Support the design and delivery of employee education programs relevant to the local market.
  • Provide updates on change initiatives to management & project teams, as needed.
  • Work closely with the Global Project team and coordinate efforts with other (project) specialists.
  • Ensure adherence to company’s change framework, governance and project management standards and templates.


Key Deliverables



The below will be applicable for the roll out of the following systems: Viewpoint Cloud, SAP S/4 Hana:

  • Country-level stakeholder list and business resource requirements (business change network).
  • Country-level change impact analysis, monitoring and completion of change actions.
  • RAID log, and risk / issue escalation and resolution on change-related matters.
  • End user mapping to new system roles and authorizations.
  • End user training plan (global & local) and tracking based on system roles and authorizations.
  • Local training and learning session delivery, tracking and status reporting.
  • Local communication plan and delivery of comms.
  • Local business readiness planning and tracking.
  • Logistics coordination and support for global training (e.g. train-the-trainer delivery, end user training etc.)
  • Two-way flow of insight and information between global project team and change team, and local team.


Relevant Experience & Skills



  • 3 to 5 years of change management experience in Professional Services / Service Delivery is desirable.
  • Strong team-player with demonstrable experience in working within a dynamic organisation and able to build bridges between the different stakeholders within the organisation and across locations.
  • Solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situation, identify problems at an early stage and solve them effectively.
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to different level of stakeholders.
  • Experienced in delivering large scale business change activities that are multi-site / regional / global.
  • Experience with IT, finance and accounting systems (SAP/ERP, Entity Management system, etc).
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially SharePoint portal.


Professional Qualifications



University degree, preferably in a business, accounting, finance or related discipline.
