Our opportunity for you:

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager, Client Accounting to join the Vistra Client Accounting team on a full-time basis

 

Purpose of the role:

Managing team within Client Accounting department and providing support to the Head of Department

 

Scope:

Client Accounting Department in Vistra Corporate Services Singapore

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the HOD in fee proposal preparation, and follow up on proposals
  • Follow up with new clients on services engaged
  • Responsible for portfolio management of clients, including upselling and cross selling
  • Provide guidance and effective coaching to team(s) in SG and SSC, including conducting internal briefings and trainings
  • Keep abreast of accounting/payroll regulatory and FRS changes in Singapore, ensure that the developments are communicated to clients and appropriate changes are made to our templates for adoption by the JB SSC team
  • Handle and/or reviews full set of accounts which includes payroll and fund administration
  • Review unaudited financial statements and XBRL
  • Attending to Audit query for yearly account closing
  • Liaising with business units within the Group on client accounting matters
  • Responsible for portfolio billing and collection
  • Process Improvement – continuous review of processes with the aim to improve quality and timeliness of reporting

 

 

Attributes & Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and application of Singapore accounting standards & IFRS
  • Knowledge of MYOB, Xero, Netsuite, Infotech  software preferred
  • Knowledge in payroll administration
  • Excellent and effective communication skills to liaise with senior management, clients, peers and subordinates
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, train  and engage team members
  • Competent in delivering quality work
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office Applications

 

Relevant experience:

  • At least with 4 - 5 years experiencing in handling full set of accounts and as a people manager in various industries.
  • Preferably with experience working in an outsource environment.

 

Education/Professional Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualifications
  • Member of ACCA/ ISCA or any internationally recognised accounting body is preferred
