We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior System Analyst (Tech) – Swift and Payments. Reporting to Senior Technology Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our IT and its’ growth.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Manage Vistra’s Swift BICs and provide support when required.
  • Assist with enabling the automation of banking data to different applications.
  • Jointly responsible with the product owner in ensuring the component is run effectively, properly governed, controlled and that the business users are fully trained and supported (including vendor and application management for multiple applications within the component area)
  • Align with product owner(s) on change prioritisation and sequencing, with practical consideration to benefits, costs, resource constraints, dependencies, technology, risk, complexity, governance, architectural integrity, and technical fit.
  • Work with the product team on the continuous improvement of the component by jointly reviewing backlog, enhancement requests and upcoming business requirements.
  • Help standardize development and deployment processes and standardize / consolidate relevant applications where possible.
  • Asist with the production of any technical, service, training, or support documents
  • Provide the appropriate level of detail and effectively communicate activity, challenges, accomplishments, blockers to all key stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Assist the product owner(s) with their remit to standardise and optimise global processes & data.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with the product team, the broader technology function, the commercial team, and the wider business.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc assignments as directed/necessitated to ensure group success and progress towards the digital transformation strategy.

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • Strong understanding of XML for testing and data analysis purposes
  • An understanding of the relevant technology and applications, which for this component are: Corporate payments’ automation solutions, Swift, Transaction monitoring automation solutions, Invoice Approval automation solutions, Banking Portals, and Treasury/cash management applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to effectively convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Effective planning and (self) organisational skills to manage competing priorities.Good sense of urgency and able to work under pressure.
  • Punctuality
  • Diploma/Higher Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Corporate payments’ automation solutions, Swift, Transaction monitoring automation solutions, Invoice Approval automation solutions, Banking Portals, and Treasury/cash management applications
