Vistra: Corporate Law.

Vistra Corporate Law Limited (VCL) is an ABS UK law firm (regulated and authorised by the SRA) which is operating within the wider Vistra Group, a leader in the provision of corporate and associated services across the globe. 

We are seeking an Associate Director of c.5+ years PQE to help lead our friendly and dynamic corporate team.

Responsibilities:

• Providing senior level corporate legal advice to clients across a range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and joint ventures transactions and a varied range of advisory matters.  
• Working as matter lead on own projects, and as subject matter expert on integrated client advisory projects at Vistra Group level, working with fellow senior VCL directors and other Vistra Group stakeholders as required.
• Working autonomously as required, whilst supervising and mentoring, junior associates, paralegals and other junior members of the team.
• Taking an active role in marketing and business development initiatives, including meeting with Vistra colleagues based in the UK and elsewhere and delivering presentations and training to internal and external participants, which may include travel if required (note: no client following is required).

Education and Professional Qualification:

• Qualified Solicitor (England and Wales)
• 5+ years PQE (corporate/transactional) preferably with a large to mid-tier regional or City firm although appropriate in-house experience will also be considered
