We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer based in Tricor Roots Business Intelligence Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the Executive Director, this full-time and permanent position is based in Kuala Lumpur and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our business and its’ growth. 

Key responsibilities:

(A) Software Quality Control Management

• To be involved in planning, organizing, and managing the overall testing activities of Q-RADAR.
• To work closely with Software Developers and Project Management team to create and maintain test scripts/cases & system manual guideline independently.
• To be involved with and support the implementation of Q-RADAR at client sites.
• To be part of the team to identify improvement areas and assist in ongoing product enhancements.
• To participate the UAT Walkthrough session & UAT session of project implementation.

(B) Customer Support / Delivery Management

• Providing help and answers to the customers' technical issues through identification of the problem itself, research on answers and subsequent provision of guidance.
• To ensure all raised / reported issues meet Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits.

Key requirements:

• Must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Mathematics or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of Software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with Manual or Automated Testing. Functional, Integration, Performance and
• Regression Testing is a plus.
• Understand the basic concept of programming and database.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Pleasant personality.
• Proactive and positive nature.
• Must possess management, good communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of both spoken and written English & Malay.
• Able to work independently and multi-task as well as a good team player.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work as a team.
• Good sense of urgency and able to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented person.
