Senior Software Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team Senior Software Engineer. Reporting to Director, Consulting, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our growth.

Key responsibilities:

• To ensure timely release of assigned product/project deliverables and of high-quality
• To analyze user’s and product’s needs; formulate technical specifications and design
• To work closely with the software developers to ensure compliance with software development frameworks, methodologies and best practices.
• To mentor developers/ software engineers to help them understand concepts of re-usability and other design principles
• To continuously and actively contribute in the advancement of the product’s innovation, stability and quality
• To continuously and actively contribute in the advancement of the software development processes, procedures and frameworks
• To constantly update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals, help files and other sources of knowledge
• To assume any other responsibilities or activities as assigned or delegated by the management

Key Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science/Software Engineering/Mathematics or equivalents.
• Responsible and passionate for continuous learning, very adaptive and highly motivated
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of MSSQL
• Knowledge in PowerBuilder would be an added advantage
• Minimum 4+ years of working experience in the related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge and experience in .NET development with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web Forms, JQuery, CSS 3.0 and MSSQL.
• Experience in Full Stack Development (Front End and Back End).
• Experience in security best practices, security audit and assessments will be an added advantage.
• Experience in monitoring, managing and optimizing Microsoft Azure costing will be an added advantage.
