We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Software Engineer, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the Senior Software Engineer, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our IT Department and its’ growth. 

Key responsibilities:

• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the existing applications and services.
• Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the Software stack.
• Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
• Remain current on new technologies; Evaluate and make recommendations as necessary.
• Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing.
• Mentor Software Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.
• Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes.
• Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management.
• Experience in working with offshore users and development teams.
• Experience in HR System will be an added advantage.

Key requirements:

• Minimum 6 years in Software Design & Development.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Diploma/Higher Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science.
• Good knowledge of:
  • C#, ASP.NET, MVC.NET, .NET Core, LINQ, Entity Framework, API
  • MS SQL(Stored Procedure), Azure SQL.
  • HTML5, CSS, Ajax, Bootstrap, Javascript, JQuery, React.js, Node.js.
• Broad experience designing, programming, and implementing enterprise systems.
• Ability to provide in-depth evaluation and analysis of unique complex technological issues.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead others.
• Ability to document business requirements and convert into technical solution design.
• Experience in Azure cloud platform will be an added advantage.
