Senior Manager – Migrations | Global Delivery Hub

About Vistra

Vistra is a leading provider of fund administration, corporate services, capital market services, and private wealth management. With more than 9,000 professionals across 50+ jurisdictions, we combine local expertise with global scale to help clients navigate complexity and unlock opportunity. Our Global Delivery Hub (GDH) model is central to how we deliver consistent, high-quality services at scale — and the Migrations team sits at the heart of making that transformation happen.

Role Summary

As Senior Manager – Migrations, you will lead a portfolio of concurrent migration projects, transitioning work from local markets to our Global Delivery Hubs with seamless precision. This position would be based out of our Foshan Delivery Hub, China. You will own the end-to-end migration lifecycle across multiple workstreams, driving governance, methodology, and stakeholder alignment at a senior level.

Ensure seamless transitions that are invisible to clients — maintaining or improving service quality throughout every migration.

You will report to the Head of GDH Migrations, playing a critical role in scaling our global delivery model while protecting client relationships and service continuity. The role requires a blend of programme leadership, stakeholder management, and deep operational expertise.

  • Established a clear communication rhythm with direct reports(if any) and leadership

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Own a portfolio of concurrent migration projects from initiation through hypercare to steady-state handover
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve migration playbooks, methodologies, and governance frameworks
  • Ensure client-facing teams are fully briefed and equipped to maintain service continuity, with no disruption visible to external clients
  • Drive change management activities at portfolio level, ensuring smooth adoption at both sending and receiving locations
  • Manage project budgets, resourcing plans, and vendor/partner delivery against agreed milestones.
  • Negotiate scope, timelines, and resource commitments with clarity and commercial awareness
  • Coach and develop Migration Managers and project resources, fostering a high-performance team culture
  • Engage and align regional and global stakeholders including Country Managing Directors, GDH Operations leads, and Client Relationship Managers
  • Report progress, risks, and issues to the Head of GDH and Senior leadership with clarity and confidence
  • Conduct rigorous post-migration reviews and embed lessons learned into the migration methodology and future delivery cycles
  • Drive root cause analysis for migration defects and implement corrective/preventive actions
  • Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and validation processes are robust and repeatable
  • Champion a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the migrations function
  • Drive automation and tooling improvements to increase migration throughput and reduce manual effort

Who You'll Work With
