We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Manager, Compliance. Reporting to the Head of Funds – Guernsey, this full-time and permanent position is based in Guernsey and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our operations Department and it’s growth.

 

Purpose of Role

 

To provide compliance support and guidance to Vistra Fund Services (Guernsey) Limited and Vistra Trust Company (Guernsey) Limited and act as Nominated Officer and Compliance Officer, MLRO & MLCO for the POI licences.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

•    To monitor the POI Licensees compliance with policies, procedures and controls to forestall, prevent and detect ML, TF and PF.
•    To monitor, provide guidance and make recommendations and provide reporting to the POI Boards in relation to compliance with relevant regulatory legislation, policies, procedures and controls. 
•    To review internal SAR’s received and externalise where appropriate, ensuring that the SAR register is updated. 
•    To ensure production orders are dealt with by the relevant deadline.
•    To prepare and present Compliance Officer, MLCO & MLRO reports to the Boards of POI Licensees on a quarterly basis.
•    Promote and encourage a culture of compliance and ethics throughout business communicating these values to colleagues.
•    To provide support to the Head of Compliance

 

Attributes/Technical Skills

 

•    Extensive knowledge and experience of laws and regulations.
•    Confident and motivational with excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks with changing priorities.
•    Strong analytical skills.
•    Good inter-personal skills and ability to work collaboratively in team environment and build positive professional relationships.
•    Robust organisational, multitasking, time management and follow up skills.
•    Demonstrate high levels of integrity.
•    Systems aptitude required.

 

Relevant Experience  

                        

•    At least 5 years’ Compliance experience.
•    A thorough knowledge of the local regulatory legislation and requirements.

 

Education and Professional Qualification

 

•    Holding a relevant compliance or other professionally recognised qualification in relevant disciplines; or
•    Undertaking studies to achieve a compliance or other professionally recognised qualification, whilst having significant relevant experience in a regulated financial business in the area of Compliance.
