We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Manager, Business Development, Company Formation, based in our Vistra, Shanghai,China office.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Team Leads in CF North Asia to develop and implement commercial/sales plan with key objectives and metrics towards building and generating new opportunities for CF in East China
  • Assist in the development of Vistra brand awareness and promoting CF services to potential clients through sales and marketing campaigns
  • Capable in securing new-new business and closing of related opportunities
  • Establishing and nurturing new business referral relationships
  • Marketing of Vistra to professional intermediaries, chambers of commerce, banks, family offices and end clients
  • Able to work with CF Relationship Managers and Service Delivery teams to drive Vistra’s business vision, brand and services on behalf of CF North Asia
  • Identify and cross-refer opportunities to other business units, where applicable
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as the role may require


Key requirements

  • Self-starter with the ability to interact in the East China marketplace to build opportunities to grow CF’s North Asia business
  • Able to identify market trends, and client needs towards being able to assist in redefining Vistra’s service offerings
  • Effective communication/ presentation skills with the ability to provide non-technical explanations to technical matters, and summarize and present information in a clear, concise and accurate written and verbal form
  • Results-oriented, and numeric, capable in tracking and recording activity on client proposals and close deals
  • High EQ with potential to deal with individual and cultural differences and able to establish effective relationships with colleagues and clients alike
  • Fluency and competency in both spoken and written Chinese and English. Ability to speak Cantonese dialect would be well-regarded
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in business development roles gained in a corporate, fiduciary or financial services setting (or similar professional services sector)
  • Business development experience should include a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Having a strong existing network of contacts in East China would be an asset.
  • Degree in Business, Communications, Commerce/Economics, Accounting or Law or other relevant disciplines
