We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Depositary Manager. Reporting to the Executive Director Depositary, this full time and permanent position is based in Luxembourg allowing you to make a significant contribution to our funds business and its' growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Private Equity and Real Estate fund clients, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of depositary services.
- Manage a team of Depositary Officers and review their work.
- Oversee depositary activities in accordance with the AIFM legal and regulatory framework, including cash flow monitoring, oversight duties, recordkeeping transactions and ownership verification.
- Lead the onboarding of new funds and review fund documentation, Depositary Service Agreements and Operating Memoranda.
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients and manage relationships with AIFMs, administrators, lawyers, auditors, banks and other service providers.
- Review and approve key deliverables, including KPI reporting, audit requests and year-end portfolio asset positions.
- Identify, assess and escalate risks and issues, ensuring appropriate and timely resolution.
- Provide guidance and oversight to team members and ensure tasks are appropriately prioritised and completed within deadlines.
- Monitor billing and outstanding invoices for the assigned portfolio.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes, controls and service delivery while ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.

Relevant Experience
- Five to seven years' relevant experience in a depositary function within a professional depositary, depositary bank or a similar role within audit, fund accounting, fund administration or transfer agency.
- Management experience is preferable.
- Solid experience with Private Equity and/or Real Estate funds, preferably within an AIFM/depositary environment.
- Strong knowledge of the AIFMD/AIFM regulatory framework and depositary requirements.
- Proven experience in managing client relationships and coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in reviewing and/or overseeing depositary processes, controls and deliverables.
- Experience in onboarding new funds and reviewing fund documentation is highly desirable.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and operate effectively under pressure.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and other relevant Microsoft Office applications.
Education and Professional Qualification
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Law or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. accounting, audit, investment management or fund administration) would be considered an advantage.
