We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Billing Associate. Reporting to the Manager, Billing, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mauritius and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Billing Services and its’ growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of complex and strategically important client accounts.
  • Drive collection of overdue debt while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Achieve and exceed cash collection and ageing reduction targets.
  • Review aged debt regularly and prioritise high-risk balances.
  • Secure payment commitments and ensure agreed actions are followed through.
  • Prepare and present portfolio updates, highlighting key risks, blockers, actions and escalation requirements.
  • Build effective working relationships with clients, Client Managers, Relationship Managers, Finance Teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Work with operational and commercial teams to investigate billing and service-related issues.
  • Maintain compliance with Credit Control policies and governance requirements.
  • Share best practices and assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Support the Team Leader or Manager with portfolio reviews, escalations and process improvements.


Key requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing complex debt portfolios and delivering collection results.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP.
  • 3-4 year’s relevant experience.
  • A degree in Finance or equivalent.
