We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Associate, Tax. Reporting to the Global Head of Tax, this full-time and permanent position is based in Hong Kong, allowing you to make a significant impact to our growth.
The Associate / Senior Associate prepares more complex tax computations, handles the preparation of tax queries, computes tax provision for our accounting clients, conducts tax technical research for tax advisory engagements and works for benchmarking for Transfer pricing engagements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide corporate and individual tax compliance services to clients.
- Support Seniors and Managers to provide tax and business solutions to clients.
- Assist to identify and address client needs and participate on engagements.
- Research tax laws, rules & regulations, analyse their application and defend decisions and/or outline solutions to those issues.
- Participate in a wide range of projects and perform multiple tasks.
- Handle, manipulate and analyse data and information responsibly.
- Keep up to date with developments in tax.
- Communicate confidently in a clear, concise, and articulate manner - verbally and in the materials produced; and
- Follow risk management and compliance procedures and uphold Vistra’s code of ethics and business conduct.
Key Requirement:
- Fresh Graduates are welcome and candidates with relevant experience gained from sizable CPA firm are also eligible.
- Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting/Business Administration or related discipline; preferably with an emphasis in Accounting, Economics, Taxation, Computer Science.
- A positive collaborator who shares and collaborates effectively with others; with ability to show initiative to help drive projects forward.
- Good people skills with can-do & learning attitude;
- Strong presentation skills with an excellent command of verbal and written English and Chinese; fluency in both Cantonese and Mandarin is preferred.
