We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Associate. Reporting to the Deputy Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Management Accounting Team and its’ growth.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivery of multiple finance and accounting processes including Annual Financial Statement & Bookkeeping. Processes may include, but not limited to –

 

  • Accurately record daily accounting transactions, schedules for prepayments, accruals, loan refinancing activities, perform investment fair valuation of quoted investment and year-end accruals related to operational activities.
  • Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, VAT liabilities, and intercompany ledgers to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare detailed investment portfolio summaries, manage inter-portfolio transfers, and oversee fund dissolutions, including the calculation of realized and unrealized gains/losses .
  • Analyze meeting minutes and loan agreements to evaluate financial implications and ensure proper accounting treatment  including identify and record non-cash transactions.
  • Post bookkeeping entries for various financial documents, including bank statements, rental income, investment transactions (purchases, sales, interest, dividends), and property management reports.
  • Calculate various types of loan interest, including simple, rolled-up and compound interest.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of investment portfolios and their key components for accurate financial reporting.
  • Possess a solid understanding of investment-related terminology, including quoted and unquoted investments and perform accounting for both short-term and long-term investment instruments.
  • Timely escalation of issues to leader / Senior
  • Adhere to delivery service request with 100% of client SLA as agreed upon.

Key requirements:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong Communication, Good Presentation skills & Customer Focus.
  • Ability to understand and interpret legal/regulatory concepts
  • Self-driven and highly motivated individual, able to work independently
  • Solution oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Candidates with KPO/BPO background would be preferred
  • Professionally Semi qualified Chartered Accountant with experience ranging from 2-6 years of clearing CA Intermediate.
  • Post graduation in Commerce or Finance with experience ranging from 4 - 7 yrs
  • Knowledge of Private Wealth Management / Fund Accounting would be added advantage.
