Senior Associate, Fund Services

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Associate, Fund Services. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Fund Services, this full-time and permanent position is based in North Sydney.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial work papers including distribution calculations, management fee, portfolio schedules, accruals, partner capital allocations and tax work paper packages.
- Preparation of quarterly BAS returns for entities within structure,
- Assistance with preparation of year end audited financial statements in accordance with the respective GAAP of the entity (as required by auditors)
- Preparation and dispatch of capital call/distribution notices to unit holders within the structures,
- Assisting with the investor communication and investor onboarding process along with the Investor services team.
- Assisting with company and trust setup documentation.
- Managing and tracking capital call/distribution and Investment capital flow
- Preparing payment instructions for all cash movements within the structure on behalf of client.
- Assisting team with corporate secretarial services within structure – preparation of trustee instructions, unit application forms, member instructions, maintenance of unit holder registers and corporate resolutions (as and when if required)
- Assist and review (as required) the work of share service centre colleagues to ensure monthly and quarterly deliverables are met.
- Pro-actively liaise with internal Vistra teams and external stakeholders including investors, fund managers, trustees and auditors to service our client structures.
Key requirements
- Bachelor of Accounting/ Finance.
- CA/CPA part/fully qualified.
- Good understanding of accounting standards.
- 5+years experience in Funds Accounting or similar roles.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment, adapt and react to change.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using Yardi/Investran system or experience working in the PE funds/property sector will be highly regarded.
- Strong technical, statutory and tax reporting experience working within fund/investment structures.
