Senior Associate, Financial Accounting & Tax

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Associate, Financial Accounting & Tax in our Financial Accounting & Tax team based in our Singapore office.
Key responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Maintain full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
- Prepare management accounts, financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare year-end financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Tax & Compliance
- Prepare and review GST computations and returns, ensuring timely submission to IRAS.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support audit processes by liaising with auditors and responding to audit queries.
Client Servicing
- Act as a key point of contact for clients on accounting, GST, and reporting matters.
- Manage client expectations and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
- Provide practical accounting support and advisory to clients as required.
Key requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in public accounting, outsourcing, or professional services firms.
- Hands-on experience handling full sets of accounts and GST compliance.
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA (Singapore), or ISCA are an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of SFRS and Singapore accounting requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and common accounting systems (e.g., Xero, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
