Senior Associate, Audit. 6 Months FTC

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team Audit Senior, Reporting to Audit Manager, this is a temporary position for 6 months and is based in Reading and offers UK coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our department and clients.
Purpose of Role
The Reading office require an Audit Senior with experience of external audit to join their audit department. The position involves working within the existing team to undertake statutory audits for typically internationally focused companies largely operating in the technology sector.
Key Responsibilities
- To undertake audits under UK GAAP and IFRS
- To undertake the planning on an audit
- To draft accounts for manager review
- To take responsibility for the audit process and ensure all testing is done to a high standard
- To be involved in formal and on the job training for team members
- To be prepared to travel to clients in the UK

The person concerned will have the following attributes and abilities
- Enthusiastic and driven to improve themselves
- Keen to progress within a professional environment
- Significant amount of audit experience in their career to date
- Technically excellent
- Experience of training staff
- Capable of motivating and encouraging a team
- Has a can-do attitude and hands on approach
- Flexible and adaptable
Relevant Experience
To be undertaking a formal accountancy qualification with experience within a UK based professional practice undertaking external audit. The successful applicant will have at least 24 months experience and will have been involved in the planning and completion of audits,
Education and Professional Qualification
- Studying for ACA or ACCA
