We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Associate, Accounting Services. Report to the Manager, Accounting Services. This position is based in Indonesia allowing you to make a significant impact to our Service and Delivery team and its’ growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and perform the full spectrum of accounting functions for assigned clients, in compliance with applicable regulations and accounting standards.
- Oversee and execute monthly closings, ensuring the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports.
- Prepare and review journal entries, maintain the chart of accounts, and generate trial balances and balance sheets.
- Conduct and review reconciliations of general ledger (GL) accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
- Support and coordinate internal accounting administrative activities to ensure efficient workflows.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal control practices.
- Maintain the integrity of financial data, ensuring that all accounting records comply with local statutory and tax requirements.
- Undertake ad hoc tasks, assignments, and projects as assigned by the Manager or as required by client needs.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a professional services or client-servicing environment.
- Disciplined, responsible, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Maintains a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and resilience under pressure.
- Demonstrates maturity, focus, and the ability to remain task-oriented without distractions.
- Proactive, curious, and open to learning new systems, tools, and processes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- High attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Relevant Experience:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a professional services or outsourcing environment
Education and Professional Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
