We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Accountant. Reporting to an Accounting Supervisor, this full time, permanent position is based in Bulgaria and offers local coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact on our Corporate business and its growth.

 

 


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Arranging and organizing, the bookkeeping and the accounting entries of the clients;
  • Organizing the work and delegating tasks to subordinates;
  • Development of internal controls and supervision of proper execution of the work by the subordinates;
  • Maintaining good relations with clients and identifying their needs and potential issues;
  • Cooperation with other departments within Vistra, in order to assure proper quality of services to clients;
  • Establishing communication procedures with clients; 
  • Authorization of payments on behalf of clients, based on their authorization;
  • Acting as a proxy of clients;
  • Preparation of monthly / quarterly / annual management reports, in accordance with international standards and internal requirements;
  • Filling-in timesheets and work time evidence;
  • Ad-hoc projects as required and requested by the superior.

 


Attributes and Technical Skills

 

  • Good knowledge of The CIT Act / The VAT act / The TSP Code / The Accounting Act;
  • Knowledge of the national accounting standards and the international financial reporting standards.

 

 

Relevant Experience

 

  • Experience in accordance with Art.18 of the Accounting Act;
  • Experience in team work.

 


Education/Memberships

 

  • Academic degree.
  • Accounting qualification an advantage.
