We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior 2 - Business Analyst. Reporting to the Manager, Operations Relationship Management, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mauritius and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our team and its’ growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination and delivery of system and process improvement initiatives across Vistra and Client platforms, ensuring alignment with business priorities and operational needs.
- Perform business analysis activities such as requirements gathering, process mapping, impact analysis, and documentation, collaborating closely with stakeholders across jurisdictions.
- Track and follow up on project milestones, ensuring timely delivery of assigned workstreams through structured governance and reporting frameworks.
- Manage change requests by assessing operational impacts, documenting requirements, and facilitating cross-functional discussions to drive alignment.
- Maintain static and operational data accurately by working with relevant teams to ensure updates comply with client and regulatory expectations.
- Identify improvement opportunities and support implementation of scalable solutions through automation, documentation standardization, and workflow refinement.
- Provide support during testing and implementation phases, including user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live readiness, and post-deployment tracking.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across business, tech, and operations teams to ensure clear communication, expectation alignment, and knowledge sharing.
- Train and review the work of junior staffs
- Maintain project documentation using tools such as SharePoint, Monday.com, and Excel to support transparency and auditability.
Key Requirements:
- Solid understanding of business analysis principles and change management processes in a structured project environment.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to adapt based on project type and stakeholder preferences.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams across regions.
- Hands-on experience in using platforms such as Viewpoint, Investran, Salesforce, or other financial systems is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in business analysis, operational coordination, or change support roles in the financial services industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. Certifications such as Agile/Scrum, PRINCE2 Foundation, or similar are a plus.
