We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Business Development Executive (aka MDR within Vistra). Reporting to the Director of Marketing Corporate Services, this full-time and permanent position is based in United States and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Marketing Department and it’s growth. This is a fantasic oppotunity for someone who is starting their career in business development, looking for a business to give them a pathway into a successful sales career.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation: Conduct research to identify and target potential clients and decision-makers within our ideal customer profile. Use various channels, including cold calls, personalized emails, and social selling (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator), to initiate conversations and build rapport with prospects.
  • Demand Generation: Actively contribute to demand generation campaigns by engaging with prospects and nurturing them through the early stages of the sales funnel. Educate prospects on Vistra's corporate solutions, such as international expansion, entity management, and tax and statutory accounting services.
  • Lead Qualification & Appointment Setting: Qualify leads based on established criteria (e.g., BANT—Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) to determine their potential as a sales opportunity. Book qualified meetings and discovery calls for the Account Executive team, ensuring a seamless and well prepared handoff.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities, prospect interactions, and lead statuses in our CRM systems (Hubspot & Salesforce).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align on strategy, share market insights, and optimize lead generation efforts.  

 

Relevant Experience:

 

  • Proven experience (1-2 years) in a B2B sales development or outbound prospecting role, with a strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Skills:
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and concisely.
    • Technical Savviness: Proficient in using sales tools and technologies, including CRM software including Hubspot & Salesforce, email automation platforms, and social selling on LinkedIn.
    • Resilience: The ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive, persistent attitude in a targetdriven environment.
    • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a large volume of leads effectively.  

 

Education and Professional Qualification:

 

  • BA or BS in Marketing, Business or similar education advantageous but not essential
