SAP SAC Business Intelligence Lead

We have an exciting opportunity for a SAP SAC Business Intelligence Lead to join our team. The role can be based anywhere in Europe or in APAC and will contribute to our global finance team.
The SAP Business Intelligence Lead will be responsible, in collaboration with other Business Process Owners (R2R, O2C\CD, P2P), for the identification of global reporting requirements.
The SAP Business Intelligence Lead , working out of Vistra’s Lux and US offices, will work directly with our SAP Programme Director and Group CFO to drive definition of common reporting KPIs across regions, identify country specific legal or regulatory reporting requirements, lead the implementation of key reports and dashboards, and support the rollout and adoption of new reports that align with new ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Global Process Owner for the BI workstream, and work with the CFO Office, COO Office, HR Office, IT Office, BPO’s, and other key Vistra stakeholders to capture and assess the feasibility of requirements for new BI reports and Dashboards
- Drive the effort of capturing, defining, and rolling out globally agreed KPI’s, measures and formulas.
- Monitor adherence and lead effort to ensure consistent adoption of these new key KPIs
- Work with Implementation Partner and other BPOs to Identifying which out-of-the box reports will meet Vistra requirements, and where gaps exist, identify new report requirements.
- Coordinate and liaise with implementation partner and support teams to ensure data required by SAP SAC is identified and that it is available to be replicated from SAP S4 to SAP SAC / Datasphere.
- Assist other BPO’s in managing effectively analytical processes and use the results for making informed, evidence-based decisions
- Ensure reports data visibility and security rules are fully captured during the design phase and aligned with the future BI reporting model.
- Ensure future operational / business roles are aligned with Data and Security requirements in S/4 HANA, Embedded Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Data Sphere (aka to as SAP Data Warehouse Cloud)
- Establish Governance Process for all BI related reports and respective requirements
- Agree and baseline the roadmap for BI reports for the years 2025-2027 (priority for 2025)
- Ensure that new reports for each of the workstreams are aligned with the BI Reporting roadmap, and prioritised in terms of scope and importance
- Participate and drive training activities in relations to the BI reports
- Support the change management effort, specifically how new reports are expected to support new ways of working and processes
- Sustain adoption of new reports post go live for each region \ wave
- Ensure on-going Data Integrity and Accuracy between new reports \ dashboards and source systems
- On-going assessment of new SAP Analytics Cloud features or product roadmap changes and determine any changes required to Vistra’s SAP SAC\Datasphere roadmap.
- Ensure that Business benefits are realized (needs to lead quantification of benefits to achieve with new SAP BI Platform)
Attributes/Technical Skills:
- Focus on innovation and staying updated with the latest trends in SAP and data analytics.
- Ability to manage multi-country BI deployments and adhere to global compliance and governance standards.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their integration with SAP solutions.
- Knowledge of AI/ML tools and predictive analytics is a plus.
Relevant Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in SAP BI or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Experience in large-scale, global organizations with complex SAP landscapes.
Education and Professional Qualifications:
- SAP certifications such as SAP BW/4HANA Specialist, SAP Analytics Cloud Consultant, or SAP HANA Specialist.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
