We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a SAP Market Leader within our SAP Programme team. Reporting to the SAP Transformation Director, this full-time position can be based in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia or India with occasional international travel as required.

 

The Market Leader role will be responsible to:

 

  • lead and coordinate the project from a Regional perspective and establish the bridge between the Programme Team plans and the Regional activity plans
  • secure the appropriate participation and support from the regional teams at key phases of the project.(data delivery, conference room pilot, training and deployment)

In addition, the Market Leader will act as a conduit between the Markets and SAP Programme Team in terms of risk and issue management.

Finally, this role will oversee, and coordinate as required, the collection of client and customer project data (incl. Pricing, Services etc.) from the regional markets in scope.

The position will require significant exposure to Operations and Client Delivery, specifically in terms of structuring customer project deals, services and pricing models in use,

An accounting background is a significant plus.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Accountable for driving the transformational change (Finance and Operations), within respective markets, to standard processes and agreed/required data quality on Finance, Client, Customer project data to be collected (incl. Pricing, Services / Product Taxonomy)
  • Work closely with the Business Process Owner’s, System’s Integrator, Change Management, Training, and Communications Team, and represent the region/markets when reviewing and signing off key deliverables such as Change Impact Assessment, Training Plan, and Communications.
  • Responsible to work with each of the markets Finance Controllers and Local Operations Leadership team to ensure that change is embedded in each Market appropriately, and that all timelines and scope for data collection are strictly adhered to by the markets in scope.
  • Ensuring that local regulatory requirements are captured for the purposes of being support in the global template
  • Identify and articulate market/local business needs during localisation design review sessions and ensure alignment to the SAP Programme scope and timeline at all times.
  • minimise any non-standard (SAP) process, and where required provide a justification for any local deviation  (through governance process)
  • Identify and act on opportunities to standardise and streamline key business processes within region\markets.
  • Ensure that key business processes related data objects are standardised across markets to improve business efficiency, decision-making and reporting.
  • Drive standard best practice (SAP enabled) business processes and data quality across markets by:
  • reinforcing global standards for data and business processes across Vistra
  • ensure adoption of new product taxonomy to ensure all projects are migrated and setup in full alignment with the global taxonomy where possible.
  • responsible for supporting the Client Delivery and Order 2 Cash workstreams in reviewing of design specifications of the global template and ensure that relevant business processes for the Operations Teams are fit for purpose, specifically for:
    (a) Timesheet Process, (b) Customer Project Lifecycle, (c) Billing
  • Support, if required, the Record to Report workstream in reviewing Profit Center and Cost Center Structure setup in SAP, and work with countries to ensure Customer Projects are assigned to the appropriate Profit and Cost Centers, including
    (a) cross workstream processes alignment with R2R and P2P
    (b) BAU process for O2C/CD, R2R, and P2P are well embedded ahead of transitioning to BAU
  • Supporting the identification and coordination of the business benefits realisation associated with the change across a specific Market
  • Work with Global Business Process & Data Owners and SMEs, in managing pro-actively business risks or issues
  • Ensuring compliance with any local Legal, Regulatory and Fiscal requirements
  • Actively support the rollout and adoption of new SAP SAC BI Reports across the region/markets for which this role is responsible
  • Support and actively promote the adoption of a Global template and standard processes conflicts.
  • Regular stakeholder reporting

Key requirements

 

Essential:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Operations
  • Leadership experience
  • Strong ERP system understanding
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to operate in complex delivery engagements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and other stakeholders
  • Understanding of Client Deals setup, Pricing and Billing.

Desirable:

  • Experience in similar role in similarly complex organisation
  • SAP S4 Exposure, particularly on the Client Delivery and/or Order to Cash modules.
  • Demonstrated academic and professional achievement, including a bachelor’s degree following and/or an accounting qualification
