We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Relationship Manager. Reporting to the Head of Department, this full-time and permanent position is based in Belgium and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Corporates and its’ growth.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Assist the Senior Managers with the daily administration of a portfolio of international private and corporate clients;
  • Fulfill all required administrative formalities regarding the Belgian client entity and keep the client entity’s file up-to-date and compliant with the regulatory requirements;
  • Execute day-to-day administrative tasks in relation to the client legal entity, such as monitoring of the bank accounts, processing payments, handling all correspondence;
  • Gather (and upload) timely all required documents, such as bank statements, invoices, bookkeeping documents, necessary for the accountant and their appropriate platforms;
  • Able to complete data and keep data up-to-date on governmental platforms, such as UBO-register, eGov, CSAM, etc;
  • Liaise with clients to assist with the incorporation and day-to-day management of Belgian legal entities, provide on-going services such as attestations, renewals, statutory and regulatory filings, corporate secretarial services and other day-to-day operations;
  • Attend meetings and/or calls with clients and intermediaries (tax lawyers, notary offices, etc.) on client entity’s related issues;
  • Prepare, execute and monitor national and international financial transactions and payments via client companies’ bank accounts;
  • Familiar with bank account opening procedures, as well as bank KYC requirements;
  • Arrange for bank formalities of client companies at the moment of incorporation or change of authorized signatories;
  • Knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements, onboarding/KYC and provide appropriate guidance to clients;
  • Preparing and keeping up-to-date KYC/CAD files and reportings;
  • Be a linking pin between legal- and accounting services, onboarding and clients within the portfolio to optimize alignment, coordination and collaboration;
  • Actively contribute to growth of the client portfolio and to the team’s revenue targets;
  • Build, maintain and develop relationships with prospects and existing (inter)national clients and client providers;
  • Attend meetings and/or calls with potential clients to appropriately explain Vistra’s services and jurisdictional offering as and when requested;


Key requirements:

 

  • Belgian resident with Belgian nationality;
  • Completed Bachelor/Master of Law (Belgian law with emphasis on company law or notary law) or Bachelor/Master in Finance, Commerce, Business administration or similar;
  • At least 3-5 years relevant experience in an organization active in the corporate services industry, in corporate or financial law, fund administration, private equity, real estate or the trust sector;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Excellent knowledge and command of both written and spoken Dutch and English language; French is considered an advantage;
  • Accurate, independent, team-player and hands-on.
