We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Payroll Specialist based in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting to the Senior Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers great coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our business and its’ growth.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Plan, coordinate and carry the work of performing clerical functions connected with processing payroll documents and maintaining master payroll records.
  • Execute and deliver the payroll according to the agreed schedule with clients.
  • To check and verify the payroll reports and ensure to minimize the errors to produce a high-quality service to the customers.
  • Primarily responsible for customer payroll activities, update data archive (softcopy & hardcopy) and ensuring accuracy of results.
  • Manage and advise customer in payroll related inquiry including Human Resource practice.
  • Effectively escalate operation issues to a higher-level management for resolution.
  • Provide the best-fit services to customers through defined processes in meeting all SLA requirements and familiar with ISAE 3402.
  • To generate and ensure that all the necessary payroll reports (such as Income Tax, EPF, Socso and other deductions) are accurate and processed on time.
  • To motivate, inspire and lead effectively to ensure staff members achieve their objectives, well trained and able to perform their duties to meet with customer requirement.
  • Handles exceptions and propose solutions to meet specific customer requirements. This will encompass the system study, supports, enhancements & customizations, implementation, testing and documentation.
  • To update the management and staff with the latest BPO requirements and/ or process and handle any other projects or duties as assigned by the Management. 

 

Key requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource/Business Admin or its equivalent.
  • Must have good command in English, both spoken and written, good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years’ experience in Payroll.
  • Initiative with good analytical skills, the ability to work under minimal supervision and able to handle multi-tasking roles.
  • Strong understanding in Human Resource Policy and Procedure.
  • Possessing own transportation would be an added advantage.
  • Experience of running payroll for Indonesia, Singapore and Asia region will be advantage.
