We are looking to recruit a Medior Financial Services Accountant Real Estate. You will deliver accounting services and advice to Real Estate firms. This sector specific Accounting Team consists of 7 accountants and a manager.

 

Scope

 

Together with the other accountant in the team, you will provide the best service to your client portfolio in terms of ensuring the integrity of accounting records, providing customised interim reports, assisting on complex client transactions and coordinating the VAT and CIT calculations with the Tax Advisor. As Senior Accountant in the team, you work independently, are open to leading/participating in projects and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare the Financial Statements;
  • Review the bookkeeping (accruals, interest calculations, sales entries, movements in investment property, lease incentives, intangibles, service charges reconciliations according to Dutch GAAP but also US GAAP principle);
  • Review the distributions and capital contribution requests;
  • Review the cash flow statements;
  • Review and prepare the Client specific monthly reporting;
  • Prepare and coordinate CIT & VAT returns;
  • Prepare the audit file and assist with statutory audits;
  • Follow-up and coordinate on client specific accounting requests;
  • Manage the relationship contact on internal Vistra matters.
  • Maintain contact with shareholders, clients, banks, accountants and other external and relevant parties;
  • Ensure delivery of other services as required together with the other teams (e.g. Bank Account openings, Tax registrations etc.);
  • Work in partnership with Global Service Center [GSC] colleagues to ensure end to end delivery for the client and support and coach them as needed.
     

Key Requirements

 

  • Good level of understanding of Dutch GAAP and IFRS;
  • 3 - 5 years of experience (audit or accounting);
  • Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance (e.g.. Accounting, Business Economics, Business Administration).
