Job Title : Client Services Assistant

 

Location : Mauritius

 

Purpose of the role:

Vistra is recruiting a Client Services Assistant. You will be responsible for the Cash Management and Administration of a portfolio of clients.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Process payments on system and carry out bank reconciliations
  • Review invoices and payment instructions from clients
  • Provide support on regulatory filings, data maintenance and cash management such as payments
  • Provide administrative and secretarial assistance to the team
  • Ensure that client entities remain in good standing with regards to Jersey regulation
  • Record the working hours/client in the time billing system according to the objectives set
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Jersey market/regulations (legal, tax, accounting, reporting, market developments)
  • Take initiative by proactively following up on daily matters and
  • Be a team player and be supportive towards your colleagues.

 

Attributes & Skills:

  • Good communication and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive and flexible with a client-oriented attitude
  • Excellent MS office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks requested at the same time, and
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently and as a member of a team.

 

Relevant experience:

  • Between 6 months to 1 year of experience

 

Education/Professional Qualifications:

  • Partly Qualified ICSA or a degree in Law, Management, Economics or Finance
