Marketing Development Representative

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Marketing Development Representative. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this full time and permanent position is based in Shanghai.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead generation by delivering outbound business development initiatives, using market research, prospect research, competitor analysis and customer behavioural research, to help direct lead generation activity.
- Work with the regional sales teams to understand customer buying profiles and assist sales team by developing new business sales leads in key growth areas/ markets.
- Proactively call prospective client organizations and effectively contact decision makers and/or influential management personnel such as CFOs, VPs of Human Resources with the goal of securing a first meeting between the prospective client and the In-Market Sales Directors.
- Work closely with the marketing teams to create business development narratives, messaging and populate local territory events.
- Attend networking events and support the efforts of Sales Directors as needed at the events.
- Work on Trigger based business development projects and follow up on regional marking lead generation activities.
- Manage all lead data in company CRM system. Salesforce and HubSpot preferred
Key requirements:
- BA or BS in Marketing, Business or similar education
- Excellent language skill in English and Chinese
- 3-5 years’ experience in B2B tele sales/inside sales or business development; preferable experience in supporting business services or technology sales.
- Knowledge on business, finance, accounting, and human resources, legal/accounting would be a strong plus.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and driven to plan and execute rigorous lead generation sales calls
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google, Internet Explorer, Skype, and online CRM applications such as, but not limited to Salesforce.com or NetSuite
- An ability to accurately understand, interpret, and repeat information received orally and accurately document the information and play it back to other team members is critical..
