We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Manager, Financial Accounting & Tax, Fund Clients. Reporting to the Director, Financial Accounting & Tax Services, Fund Clients, this full-time and permanent position is based in Hong Kong, allowing you to make a significant impact to our growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting, payment processing and payroll administration services for fund clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
- Supervise team members to deliver high-quality client service and meet deadlines.
- Review financial statements, journals, and accounting entries; ensure accuracy and adherence to Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards and local GAAP.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices for workflows and system setups for clients.
- Manage treasury and payment administration at a strategic level, including oversight of fund movement and payment approvals.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, auditors, regulators (e.g., Inland Revenue Department), bankers, and other external stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering professional development and performance excellence.
- Contribute to achieving business goals and financial objectives.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualification (HKICPA or equivalent) required.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in accounting professional services, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong expertise in corporate accounting for fund clients (including FRR for SFC licensed corporations).
- Proven track record in managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Advanced knowledge of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards and local GAAP.
- Experience in working with teams across multiple locations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting systems; ability to leverage technology for process optimization.
- Fluent communication skills in English and Mandarin; strong interpersonal and management capabilities.
- Good Command of Putonghua.
