We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Manager, Fund Services. Reporting to the Senior Manager, this is a full-time and permanent position is based in our Melbourne, Australia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our funds accounting team and its’ growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver a high-quality outsourced financial control and financial reporting service including preparation of AASB compliant financial statements.
• Collaborate with the client’s finance team on daily processing, financial reporting, tax matters, entity management needs and reporting to their internal management and key stakeholders.
• Ensure that financial records are maintained and reported in compliance with lawful and accepted procedures and policies.
• Prepare of monthly management accounts and manage the entire financial reporting process. This includes annual lifecycle planning, audit management & oversight, financial statement review and processing.
• Oversee and be responsible to coordinate with our offshore and onshore team to run the weekly vendor management and AP payment function.
• Coordinate the monthly recharge and expense management function for the client.
• Assist the team for entity governance function with ASIC for the client.
• Ensure all work performed by Vistra GSCs are performed in-line with agreed SLA’s.
• Identify operational improvement through standardisation, simplification, technology and use of GSCs.

Key requirements:

• Strong project management skills.
• Strong knowledge of AASB Accounting standards.
• Ideally have knowledge of Fund investment structures in Australia.
• Have a high level of resilience and ability to multi-task and be comfortable with managing difficult situations as they arise.
• Experienced in managing corporate accounting function for a high-volume transaction client.
• Have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Takes a leading role in clear and effective communication with the client and across Vistra.
• Strong communicator to various stakeholders, including colleagues, clients, auditors and suppliers.
