Vistra is currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager, Private Wealth and Corporate to join a busy, growing team that can offer progression, opportunity and a welcoming environment. In this role you will be assisting the manager with the day to day running of the Private wealth and Corporate team, including being a role model to less experienced colleagues, create new solutions for clients and ensure client satisfaction across the team. Key Responsibilities:

•    Administer own portfolio of international corporate and private clients with a high degree of independence, ensuring full client satisfaction, and meet SLA’s in own client portfolio;
•    Work closely with the Manager in overseeing the team’s portfolio of clients; help the team members and clients with technical queries, escalating them to the Manager, Associate Director, Director or relevant expert in a timely manner to ensure SLA’s are met;
•    Identify resources within Vistra and/or externally in relation to complex client issues, where required, to solve them promptly, efficiently and cost-effectively;
•    Liaise with clients on a daily basis in a professional manner, ensuring that clients’  requests / queries are handled appropriately, ensuring clients are kept regularly informed of progress and costs;
•    Be accountable for own client fee revision matters ensuring ad-hoc work is invoice appropriately; engage in fee revision/increases discussions and simultaneously look for opportunities to upsell, cross sell / propose new Vistra solutions for clients;  
•    Assist with the good and efficient management of the team’s working capital ensuring invoices for the team’s portfolio are raised promptly, following up on any outstanding invoices regularly, managing the debtor list proactively;
•    Work closely with the Manager to minimise client attrition in the portfolio; help the Commercial functions as and when required in pitches for new clients;
•    Be able to solve issues independently or with little input from the Manager / more senior staff;
•    Confidently work alongside the Manager to ensure all KYC processes (from onboarding a client to terminating a relationship) are met, liaising with compliance and regulatory teams as required;
•    Ensure effective delegation of work to the team and help the Manager with the general supervision of the team; help the Manager ensure that capacity is monitored and managed, and work with the Manager to resolve resource and/or Service issues;
•    Help coach and train new and existing team members where relevant and support the Manager in any ongoing or new training processes;
•    Be a role model for the team, keeping a positive attitude; be approachable for team members by becoming a trusted and reliable / dependable resource for them. Maintain an open, positive, dynamic, and constructive team atmosphere. Lead by example;
 

    Attributes/Technical Skills:

•    Strong verbal and written communication skills - foreign languages would be an advantage but not essential
•    Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels 
•    Highly organised, with the ability to understand the needs of the client and match those needs to the provision of an exceptional service
•    Natural aptitude for high level analysis and critical approach to all client matters as well as a proactive, problem solving mind set 
•    Ability to multitask 
•    Experience of working independently, with the ability to maintain self-motivation and be consistently pro-active
•    Capable of working under pressure

 

Relevant  Experience:   

•    Substantial experience in a client facing role within a trustee / corporate service provider or in a client relationship management role;
•    Experience in working with different jurisdictions and dealing with external service providers, professional and third parties from different countries;
•    Good  understanding of UK financial and accounting concepts, and of the  corporate service provider/fiduciary industry at large;
•    Good understanding of basic legal documentation and company secretarial services/duties 
•    Good understanding of cross-border dynamics affecting clients operating over several jurisdictions at the time;

 

Education and Professional Qualification:

•    Educated to degree standard and/or a substantial work experience in client relations 
•    STEP, ICSA, ACCA or CIMA qualification desirable
