We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Lead System Analyst, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the Director, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our IT Department and its' growth.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Lead software design, development and maintenance for a portfolio of enterprise applications
  • Ensure architecture alignment for software developments across multiple squads following the company Software Engineering and Architecture standards.
  • Identify, prioritize, recommend and execute improvements in accordance with the company IT roadmap.
  • Assist in technical leadership for the project delivery of end-to-end project life cycle in both agile and waterfall methodology.
  • Ensure high standards and software quality within the team.
  • Plan, design, execute and prepare report for application testing (functional and non-functional test)
  • Clearing Agile processes/practices obstacles and establishing an environment where the squad can be effective.

 

Key requirements:

 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent with 8 years relevant working experience
  • Solid hands-on experience in software design and development with Java (Spring and/or Spring Boot Framework), Microsoft Azure, Rest APIs and Any RDBMS (Web Development is a must)
  • Proficiency with React, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Axios and Immutable.js
  • Solid knowledge of SDLC, DevSecOps Practices, CI/CD Pipeline, Containerization, Kubernetes, Monolithic Architecture and Microservice Architecture
  • Technology team supervisory experience (Onsite/Offshore)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Desire and ability to learn new technologies/skills
  • Self-motivated and independent
  • Knowledge/Experience in the following technologies/skills will be an advantage: .NET Framework, Event Sourcing Pattern, Publisher-Subscriber Pattern, ORM Framework, Automated Testing or Red Hat OpenShift
  • Familiarity with Agile Development Methodologies will be an advantage
