We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Junior Financial Services Accountant Corporates. Reporting to the Head of Department, this full-time and permanent position is based in Netherlands and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Operations department and its’ growth.


Key responsibilities

 

  • Prepare Financial Statements;

  • Prepare bookkeeping (accruals, interest calculations, sales entries, capital contributions, intangibles, according to Dutch GAAP but also IFRS principles);

  • Review and/or prepare the (dividend) distributions and capital contribution requests;

  • Review (and prepare) Client specific monthly/quarterly reporting;

  • Review and coordinate the CIT & VAT returns;

  • Prepare the audit file and provide the assistance with statutory audits;

  • Perform quarterly transaction monitoring and creating transaction profiles;

  • Prepare CFI reports for Dutch Central Bank;

  • Maintain contact with shareholders, clients, banks, accountants and other external and relevant parties.


Key Requirements

 

  • Basis level of Dutch GAAP, knowledge of IFRS is an advantage;

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, Dutch is an advantage;

  • You are pro-active, team player, focused on quality, persuasive, able to set priorities, work with deadlines and flexible;

  • Interest in the wider international financial world;

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience (preferably at a trust office, audit firm or other financial institution);

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Economics, Business Administration or equivalent.
