Junior Accountant

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our outsourcing team. This full-time and permanent position is based in Prague. As a Junior Accountant, you will support more senior colleagues with day-to-day accounting tasks such as invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and assisting with other accounting functions. For smaller clients, you may handle the entire accounting process independently, under the guidance and supervision of a senior accountant who reviews your work. This is an excellent opportunity to grow in a fast-paced environment while developing your accounting skills.  Please note that for this role, we require accounting experience in the Czech Republic, fluency in the Czech language, and a working knowledge of English. 

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting senior accountants with daily tasks, including:
  • Processing invoices
  • Managing bank transactions and reconciliations
  • Managing payroll entries and related documentation
• Handling the full accounting process for smaller clients (bookkeeping, financial statements, tax filings)
• Ensuring accurate data entry into accounting systems
• Collaborating with the team to meet deadlines
• Supporting other accounting-related tasks as needed

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or studies in progress)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Previous experience or internship in accounting is a plus
