We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Associate, Regional Finance. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regional Finance,this full-time and permanent position is based in Johor, Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Finance Operation and its’ growth.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of the team works aligned with the company policy, standards procedure and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for the issuance of invoices and debit/credit notes to client and completeness of client receipts
  • Act as a first tier escalation and point of contact for team members to resolve arisen disputes and issues.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve BAU processes, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. Streamline process workflows and leverage technology to automate routine tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as  cross-functional teams to provide process guidance and support. Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors.
  • Work closely with Credit Control team and Local Finance team in resolving settlement & billing disputes.
  • Assist with month end closing activities
  • Any other ad-hoc duties.

Key requirements:

 

  • Good communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to fine detail and able to work to tight deadlines and multi-tasking.
  • Independent and self-motivated.
  • Ability to organise and prioritize work with minimum supervision
  • Strong team playerPrior experience in handling account receivable is a great advantage.
  • Experience in the shared services and in handling companies in various jurisdictions is an advantage
  • Recognized Degree / Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least with 3-5 years of experiences in accounting/finance.
